What is a Health Maintenance visit? Formerly termed the "complete exam" or "yearly checkup", a Health Maintenance visit is a comprehensive assessment of your past and current health problems and treatments.

The hour long visit also presents an ideal opportunity to involve the patient in preventive health activities that may delay or prevent future medical problems.

Preventive and wellness care cannot be effectively implemented without active patient involvement. The ultimate consent and responsibility for adopting preventive health recommendations resides in you the patient. Yet motivation for change is grounded in awareness, understanding and insight.
